Commissions

Commissioning a painting is an exciting and rewarding experience that allows you to collaborate directly with me, ensuring that the final work reflects your vision and site-specific requirements.

The Commission Process

1. INITIAL CONVERSATION & SITE VISIT

The process begins with an informal conversation, where we discuss your desired specifications and you can share your ideas and inspirations based on my different series of works.

Typically, this takes place during a site visit, allowing me to make considered recommendations for the scale, format, and palette of the work in response to the space and its lighting.

2. PROPOSAL PRESENTATION

You will then receive a Proposal Presentation, which includes a summary of my process, mood boards with references on which your painting will be based, and an estimate for the work. During this phase, you will also have the option to receive a small physical sample, allowing you to experience the proposed pigments, tone, and movement in real life before the painting phase begins. A miniature painting for you to keep.

Once you have reviewed the proposal deck and we have discussed any questions you may have, you will be invited to secure your commission window within my annual schedule with the initial deposit, should you wish to proceed.

3. PAINTING & REVEAL PRESENTATION

You will be able to enjoy my creative interpretation as the painting phase unfolds, with updates throughout the process and a final Reveal Presentation at completion.

Once the work is finished, I will contact you via text or email to let you know that your painting is complete. Shortly afterwards, you will receive a Reveal Presentation by email. This includes full-resolution professional photography of the piece, 3D in-situ mock-ups (if required), lighting recommendations, custom framing options, and an estimated delivery schedule.

4. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

My work can be shipped worldwide by my experienced team of specialist art handlers.

A dedicated installation service is also available upon delivery within the UK, should you require it.

From initial concept, to my studio, and finally into your space, your commissioned painting is now yours to enjoy for many years to come - a lasting reflection of your vision, personality, and surroundings.
